When i insert the other end into a switch the write operations starts fine and the verification says ok but it just gives out a lot of garbage. When i read the sfp again its not changed. ...

I am trying to reprogramm DAC cables from FS (SFP-10G-PC01) they are "HP branded"

I can read the SFP just fine. But when i try to write anythign to it i instalty get Device not found / Erase operation failed.

Has anyone ever tried reprogramming DAC cables?

I always use either HP AJ718A or Brocade 57-1000117-01
They use the standard finisar PW

I also tried HP AJ716B but never got them to work.
