About the password. If I enter a wrong password in SFP module it returns an error. If I enter a password in QSFP and I try to write it, it just refresh the original values (without any error). Is this the normal behaviour?

Yes, using BP the read is correct. What is the case? What is the function of BP?
Also, when I am trying to 'bruteforce' the password I am getting device timeout error.

I am trying to read a QSFP28/100G adapter (Intel) but in the output I am getting some weird characters (not vendor name, serial etc). Should I change anything? I chose QSFP from the menu. I tried to read SFP+ and it returned valid data (vendor name etc). The software version is the 1.9.1.
