Re: Datalog illegible

Just wanted to pass along I have made a few data runs and the program is working as expected. My car's odometer is not working, but I'll have that fixed soon so I can perform MPG calculations.

Re: Datalog illegible

Boost and oil pressure in data logger are in BAR. You need to multiply it by 14.5038 to get PSI. Anyway, why do you set -1,91 bar offset in boost pressure settings? Fuel pressure is as voltage from sensor (to make it compatible for common-rail engines where users does not always scale fuel pressure...

Re: Datalog illegible

This appears to have been resolved. I'll attach the latest datalog, which now has data. I think what I was doing wrong was not saving settings to the UT Comp. While I'm here, I noticed the fuel pressure reading is in volts. Is there a way to have that displayed directly in PSI? The UT Comp displays ...

Re: Datalog illegible

I redid the settings so it logged when the key was on. I ran the engine sitting still for a couple of minutes. The .csv file I got is attached. I'm making headway, I now have data categories but no data. See attached screenshot from Libre Office Calc from my desktop computer. To get this file, in th...

I'm also going to try getting data with just the engine running and see if it collects any that way.

Re: Datalog illegible

I have tried it using Windows XP SP3 (laptop) and Apache Open Office 3 calc, also Win 7 Ultimate 64 using Excel 2003 and Libre Office 5 calc (desktop). Same results with all attempts. As for .NET, on the laptop it is version 4.0.30319. On the desktop, it is version 4.5.51209. You'll need to explain ...

Re: Datalog illegible

Sorry for the delay, I have been away from the project for a few days and got some time today. I drove the car a few miles and am attaching the log I downloaded from the device. It will not open as a .csv file, so I'm not sure what the problem is. When I looked at it with Notepad I saw a bunch of we...

Datalog illegible

I drove my car today for the first time using my UT Comp pro. I set it up to datalog several values such as RPM, AFR, and fuel pressure. I set it to record when the vehicle was moving. I only drove a short distance (perhaps 1/2 mile) and when I tried to save the file, it offered CSV. I saved it and ...

Re: Gear indicator based on gear position sensor or gear ratio

Here is the gear ratio spreadsheet with expanded data. If you know your gear ratios, final drive ratio, and tire size it can calculate the necessary data for UT Comp w/o needing to drive the car. To use it, input the desired RPM (such as 2000) for gears 1-6, then gear ratios 1-6, final drive ratio, ...

Re: Calibration for analog sensor (voltage, resistance and NTC sensors)

Thank you for the info ArT. I have downloaded the trial version and know nothing about using it. I'm trying to see if the proper thing to use is a "Non-linear curve fit" tool.

If I figure out what to do, I'll post here for future reference.
