Re: LMT01LPG sensor instead of DS18B20?

My first one involves a sensor for oil temperature. I cannot use the DS18B20 since it cuts off at 125. I need the sensor to go to 150 Personally I'm a bit disappointed with the focus on the DS18B20 sensor setup in the UTCOMP. Aside from interior and exterior temperature, they are next to useless. E...

Re: Testing UTCOMP prior to installation

Bare minimum is +12 volts to the ignition/power PIN A23 and a ground connection to pin A12. USB power is not enough.

Re: UTCOMP suggestions for incoming updates

Hello, I would like to suggest the option to display throttle position sensor as a percentage on LCD. That's a weird one. Why would you want the UTCOMP to know/display throttle position? If you're doing it for diagnosis of a possibly faulty TPS, you'd be better off using the ECU diagnostics (OBD2) ...

Re: Calibration for analog sensor (voltage, resistance and NTC sensors)

Yes, but fuel pressure measurement will affect on fuel consumption measurements (if you choose fuel pressure on Adc input than UTCOMP will include this measurement in fuel consumption). Why does the UTCOMP factor in the fuel pressure reading? The fuel pressure regulator ensures that the relative pr...

Re: UTCOMP suggestions for incoming updates

On the topic of alerts, I realised that an AFR alert is only useful for a boosted car if the car is in boost. AFR regularly goes to full lean on deceleration, so a lean AFR alert with no other parameters is not useful. It would be very helpful to have an alert which was tuneable to say: IF Boost <Gr...

Re: UTCOMP suggestions for incoming updates

I would like to see various alerts based on vehicle status. For example:

- Oil pressure alert only if engine rpm above set value (rpm value needs to be configurable, as diesels idle lower than petrol)
- Same as above for fuel pressure

Re: Update v3.4 for UTCOMP-3 and UTCOMP-PRO

Good to know - I'll reserve HUD mode for someone that wants HUD mode only.

Time to possibly think about a laser scanning HUD display maybe. :-)

Re: Update v3.4 for UTCOMP-3 and UTCOMP-PRO

Sweet!!!! Cannot wait to try out the upgrade! When you say "Dual Display requires 2 modules" do you mean two display modules or two UTCOMP modules?

How can you connect two displays?

Re: Mitsubishi Galant/Legnum VR4 1996-2002

I recently replaced my oil pressure and temperature sensors with the sensors as sold by Reveltronics in the online shop, and used those new calibration settings. In doing so I realised that these three wire pressure sensors are also good for monitoring fuel pressure. My car already has a 1/8 NPT tap...

Re: UTCOMP suggestions for incoming updates

If you do not use 3 pressures at the same time, than you can use e.g. boost pressure as fuel pressure. This is only naming, but it will work as fuel pressure too. We will consider to add 3rd pressure in next update. Thanks Artur. Very keen to get fuel pressure monitored now too as those three-wire ...
