If you suspect water, it's better to open asap, maybe cleaning with IPA alcohol will be enough or replacing corroded resistors. If you wait, damage can continue (if it's water ofc).
Switches are directly connected to MCU via 1k ohm resistors in series. Please check this resistors I marked on image below. If they are fine and connection is fine - I worry that faulty is MCU, can not be replaced by user. And the question is - what happened, because usually more than +5.5V on senst...
I've sent you on PM update tool so you can reprogram internal flash without sending device to us. Please reprogram it to latest version to check if strange behaviour is from corrupted firmware or from fault on hardware.
Have you tested connection SW1/SW2/SW3 inputs directly to ground? Please check if wires have good connection in connector. Do you mean UTCOMP-3 or UTCOMP-PRO? UTCOMP-3 have already 4+ years, you can try to reprogramm it, I can share you reprogramming software but please let me know which version exa...
I checked these settings and data logger is in manual mode (disabled by default). Just select in settings -> advanced -> datalogger recording when ignition swith is on and it will be working.
This is good question but I had also strange issue when one of sensors was making some noise on power supply wire due to bad connection to ground. Had you got opportunity to also check compontents I mentioned before? (like C17, C18, T1, T2)
I see in logs old data from 2023-11-26 and later from 2024-02-12. Seems like this is data with old setting and now datalogging is disabled. Please make sure that you have enabled data logging. If you are sure, please share me your utcomp settings file, I'll take a look.
I'm sorry to hear that. It can be something in connection/sensors - have you tried to disconnect all sensors and check if this helps? Just left power supply, ignition signal and display. If yes, then you can try to connect each sensor one by one and try to find out which connection causes troubles. ...
Based on datasheet, it's working like OTP, so when you protect it, you can not change it anymore:
Once programmed to AAh or 55h this address becomes read only. All other codes can be stored, but neither write protect the address nor activate any function
