UTCOMP Pro does not work anymore

Just +12V and GRND but result is the same. Display shows nothing, except at the beginning i can see a small line, seems like the "frame" of the user display.

Is there more i can check/measure?

I have to correct myself, i wrote:

when i connected the sensor i only had two cables stripped open, Adc1 and + 12v from the battery. what could have happened if I accidentally applied + 12v to Adc1?

thats wrong, A6 (DS18B20-A 5v out) was open. what could have happened if I accidentally applied + 12v to 5v out? I used the 5V out to power supply the bosch map sensor, which worked fine.

I tried to understand how this error came about. So i applied A6 directly to 12v on the battery (additional to +12v and ignition 12v).
The utcomp started normal, display and everything else worked:

A6 (DS18B20-A 5v out) is the same power line as for OLED power supply. When you connect +12V on A6, you will have +12V on:
- all DS18B20_VCC outputs,
- display output
- buzzer output
- digout output.
So connecting +12V on A6 will damage display (maximum power supply for display is +5,5V).

As you can see, display still works fine, after connecting A6 to +12V. I can switch through the individual user screens, actually everything works again now, but only when I set A6 to +12V.
If i don't do that, the screen won't work.

So, do i need a new screen or a new box?

I suspect DC/DC converter on OLED board is faulty - it converts from >5V to 3.3V. When you connect A6 to +12V OLED display is also receiving +12V (and all other devices connected to this power line). When you connect +12V to new oled display it will damage it.
How about when you connect +5V to A6?

Other question:
Could my other sensors be damaged (ds18b20, bosch map, ntc temperature)?

If you powered them from DS18B20_VCC line and you have connected +12V to this line, all these sensors received +12V.
MAP may be damaged and DS18B20 may be damaged NTC should be fine (NTC has different power line on AdcVccX output)

+5V @ 200mA should be fine. Anyway, something is damaged, I suspect OLED board and module should be fine, but I recommend to send to us both of them. We will check both and try to repair - if OLED panel is fine it should be possible to fix it.

Is it possible to measure the map sensor to see if it is still working? apply +5v @200mA and apply 1 bar and check how the numbers equal the numbers on the datasheet?

I just want to say, that thanks to ArT, my Utcomp + display is workling like it did before.

Due to the fact that I short-circuited two cables, the display was defective and was repaired by ArT within a very short time. Thanks for the great service!

Hello, I think I've made the same mistake or a similary one.. I just order a new utcomppro before readind this post. I want try to connect my problematics oled and utcomppro 3 with new ones ich. Is it dangerous for the new one kit to connect it with a problematic peripheric ?
Should I send you my Utcomppro and oled for check and repair ? How much average costs ?
How to send it to you ? Have you got a other idea to my pb ?
