Random values on adc

Postby BenNSR » Sun Jan 01, 2023 10:46 pm

Hello, I am writing to you because I have a problem that I cannot solve with my brand new utcomp. my adc inputs vary wildly randomly, from 0v to 5.2v. as soon as I approach my hand it influences as if there were static electricity and gives random values, how can we solve this problem ?

It's 100% normal, it's designed feature. These Adc inputs are very sensitive, when it's not connected it measure voltage in air (usually noise), when you put your fingers on it it can measure your pulse. Just connect voltage signal from sensor to this input and it will be stable as stable is your signal.
