Afr innovate lc2

Postby Massimiliano » Sun Jul 13, 2025 10:29 pm

Hi, I installed the Innovate LC2 to read the AFR value. I calibrated it with the Innovate values and it works, but I noticed that both with the Zeitronix reader I use on the bench and with the Ecumaster EmuBlack that I have on my car, the values are not consistent. I have a difference of 0.8. Both Zeitronix and EmuBlack read 11.4/11.5 in WOT, and on the Reveltronico display with the Innovate LC2 I read 12.2 AFR. Is there a way to fix the reading? Thank you very much.

Please share your AFR / Voltage output table and scaling parameters (a/b) you have used.
It can be calibrated with a/b parameters.

What is your voltage/afr output table? LC2 manual:

I had entered these values,
I didn't do anything else.

Are you connected source signal from Output 1 or 2?

Based on manual for signal from yellow wire it is
0V = 7.35 AFR and 5V = 22.39 AFR.
which gives

current AFR = 3.01 * voltage + 7.35

a = 3.01 b = 7.35

and it has to work correctly connected for Adc1 - Adc4.

Hi,
It's connected to ADC4

A values = 3.01 b = 7.35

Yesterday I reprogrammed the Innovate LC2 with LM Programmer
I reset the sensor in free air as per the manual,
I checked again, and where EmuBlack gives me 14.4/5 AFR
On UTCOMP, I get 15/15.2 AFR and a voltage of 2.7 volts

If I connect the Zeitronic externally, it reads 14.5 AFR like EmuBlack
I saw that Zeitronix works differently:
21 to 9.5 AFR
At 0.15V, it's 9.7 AFR
At 3.27V, it's 21.0 AFR
So it has its own scale.

I tried lowering b, with a b value of 7.10, and it reads 14.4/14.5 AFR at idle like emublack.

I still have to test it on the road and in WOT to see if it reads 11.4 like emublack...

If so, can I keep the different B value?

Thanks

It seems like your device is using different scaling.

At 0.15V, it's 9.7 AFR
At 3.27V, it's 21.0 AFR

are you sure about these values?

I'm asking beceause it will give scaling:

a = 3.62
b = 9.16

However, recommended scaling from innovate LC2 manual is a = 3.01 and b = 7.35.

e.g 2.7 volts for recommended scaling:
2,7*3,01 + 7.35 = 15.48 AFR

2.7 volts for your ecu scaling:
2.7*3.62 + 9.16 = 18.93 AFR
3.27V for your ecu scaling (checking):
3.27 * 3.62 + 9.16 = 21 AFR
