Hard reset?

Today was a situation where utcomp just freezed - display was on, but freezed, clock/temperature/other gauges didn't updated..
After turning ignition off - utcomp continued to be on with freezed display. Was afraid of battery drain and had to disconnect it for some small time.. After that utcomp started to work, but clock was reseted..
Is there any possibility to hard reset using buttons? Or only by disconnecting power?
