Can the android app communicate via bluetooth, such as a serial connection api?

I can easily implement a bluetooth board to make the hardware bluetooth ready, but it is not worth it if the app cant do it

In UTCOMP Android app is already implemented bluetooth functionality but it's hidden (we have future plans for it). Unfortunately UTCOMP hardware does not have bluetooth, there is no easy solution because UTCOMP is using hardware usb (USB HID) and not USART so conversion from usart to bluetooth is not possible. We tested some prototypes with converter from USB HID to Bluetooth but it's too slow and not reliable in automotive environment

UTCOMP will not have BT module - hardware will stay the same. It will be other device (wihout display, android only) but release date is uknown at the moment (not soon).
