RPM Hall Sensor

Postby Pistou » Tue Dec 22, 2020 4:36 pm

Hi,

I have a camshaft on my car where the output signal is a square waveform.
Does your input accept and calculate the right value based on this signal ?

Thank you

Yes it should work :)
You need to connect it to RPM input and later in settings scale it (number of pulses per revolution)

Ok thanks I'm gonna try, the DigInUser input is also a high impedance right ?

Nope, DigInUser is for digital signal only, impedance is about 300kOhm.
Only AdcX are high impedance.

So it might disturb the camshaft sensor?

300k is still quite high, it should not, tested many times
