UTCOMP Pro does not work anymore

Hello,

i need help with my utcomp Pro.
My vehicle is not running yet. I am still on installing the sensors. Today i installed an analog NTC temp sensor (from the reveltronics shop) and connected it like i did with the last sensor, which worked fine.
After connection, the utcomp did not work anymore. The display stayed black, also when connecting to my laptop. Utcomp app connects to the utcomp, but except voltage no sensor data is shown. Before i could see temperatures and so on. When i switch on the ignition, i can see a thin strip on the display, which disappears after a few seconds.

The utcomp worked fine before, what could have happened? :(

Best regards

How did you connected this sensor? Which lines? It seems like you have +12V missing or internal DC/DC converter is damaged. We can check it and repair. There is also internal fuse in UTCOMP-PRO on +12V line. If you have some basic skills I can instruct you what you can check when you open UTCOMP-PRO module. Please let me know which variant do you prefere.

i connected the sensor to Adc1 (A8)

I already opened the utcomp-pro (i thought there is a standard fuse in there which i can exchange) and measured continuity on some lines. The white 750mA Fuse is fine.

Yes, i would be thankful for your instructions.

Hi, please check the voltage on marked point. It's output from DC/DC converter and it should be around 5,2V.
If there is no 5V on this line, DC/DC converter is faulty.
If there is 5V on this line - please send me screenshot from application from "reading" tab with connected UTCOMP to vehicle and ignition switch ON. Please make sure that you have +12V on power supply.

NTC sensor should be connected to AdcVccX input with one wire, and second wire to ground. But connecting it to Adc1 can not damage it in any way.

I measured constant 5,10V between the two marked points.

when i connected the sensor i only had two cables stripped open, Adc1 and + 12v from the battery. what could have happened if I accidentally applied + 12v to Adc1?

Ok so DC output looks fine.

Connecting +12V to Adc 0-5V output should not damage anything, it's protected input. But connecting +12V e.g. to DS sensor lines or buzzer vcc or keyboard lines or digoutuser may damage main MCU & display. But it's detected by USB so it should not be so bad, maybe issue is in different place. Please send me screenshot from application from "reading" tab with connected UTCOMP to vehicle and ignition switch ON.

here the readings from the utcomp with switched on ignition and installed ds18b20-C sensor soldered to b10-12 (which worked before). Do you want me to disconnect this sensor?

It reads ignition switch "ON" status, it reads input voltage and Adc1 voltage, seems module is working.
Yes please disconnect this sensor or all external sensors, just left only power supply (+12V, +12V ignition, GND) and check it.
