Logging g-force

Postby Gummisko » Wed Jul 13, 2022 12:53 am

Hi
I'm using a g-force sensor with a 0-5v output.
-3g = 1v
0g = 2.5v
+3g = 4v
So I did 2* a -5 to get it to show properly..
I have connected it to adc2 and displayed it as a boost pressure..

I did (x10) put in 20*a - 50 to get a more accurate reading, faking a extra decimal..
But how do I add decimals instead. I want 2 decimals..

As in the picture -9.6 bar is 0.96G

And is there a easy way to change text from "BAR" to "G-force"?

You can change "BAR" icon but you will change it for all readings, please check details here:
viewtopic.php?f=28&t=54

You can have 2 digits accuracy for boost when you connect Android device with UTCOMP android app (details viewtopic.php?f=21&t=322) - unfortunately there is not such option on display - only for Lambda readings there are 2 digits after comma implemented on display (because there is only 1 digit before comma for lambda - for boost can be 2 digits before comma - in both cases 3 digits in total)

Thanks.

One more question
Is there a way to program the oil low pressure alert only when the RPM is above a choosed value?

Now I get low pressure alert every time I'm on idle
I want it to alert only on high rpm

There is no option for RPM, but it can be related to battery voltage or boost pressure.
E.g. you can deactivate alert for boost pressure < 0.3 bar so it will not alert on idle.
