About UTCOMP Android:

Android application is additional layer for user interface for UTCOMP-3 and UTCOMP-PRO modules. It will work with devices with Android 5.0 (and latest) and equipped with USB OTG. UTCOMP module is responsible for reading and processing data, while Android App is working as additional user interface (UTCOMP-3/PRO module is always working in background - you do not have to run android app for data processing). This is simple app where functionality is limited in comparison to UTCOMP features with dedicated graphic display and windows app - UTCOMP dedicated display and windows app are still required to get all features and change all settings.

What's working:

• USB communication and data synchronization with UTCOMP-3/UTCOMP-PRO (v3.6+)
  Please note! If you are using v3.5 of UTCOMP then you will need to update it to latest version (v3.8 at the moment)
• multitasking support (window mode or split screen mode - check example on youtube)
• dashboard with user selected digital widgets (you can choose all data available in UTCOMP user screens + TRIP data),
• possibility to add multiple dashboards with user selected data,
• possibility to configure XY grid (X rows, Y columns) for each dashboard,
• possibility to change widget text and icon size,
• possibility to change widget background color,
• compatible with portrait and landscape modes,
• saving user configuration (as application preferences on android device),
• stats management (reset general stats, reset trip data, change fuel level, change fuel costs),
• displaying alternative units (mph, mpg, farentheits, psi, etc.) based on settings in UTCOMP,
• alert system (based on alerts configuration in UTCOMP),
• possibility to change alert colors,
• peak values (min/max for each gauge on dash),
• auto-hide toolbar after 5 seconds of inactivity,
• demo mode (possibility to load random data when UTCOMP is not connected),
• data-logger (import data from UTCOMP-PRO and draw charts),
• possibility to autorun UTCOMP app when USB is connected

Almost done first release for testers. We will send mails to subscribers soon with v3.6 update for UTCOMP, UTCOMP Android APK installer and all details.

edit 2017-12-30: UTCOMP Android v0.1.0 alha released. Emails with apk installer sent to subscribers.

v0.1.1 released.

Changes:

• fixed outside temperature missing values,
• display sleep mode off for android when using dashboard,
• added peak values for gauges (min/max),
• added alerts (based on alert configuration from UTCOMP)
• demo mode (possible to load random data when device is not connected)

UTCOMP Android app finally added to google store (v0.1.2). This is beta version, but available for all (link in first post). Please note that it requires UTCOMP-3/PRO v3.6.x module to work (link to v3.6 update also in first post).

Just released UTCOMP Android v0.1.3 (should be already available in Google Play).
Added Data-Logger feature:
- import data logs from UTCOMP-PRO or from external .csv file
- export data logs to external .csv file
- visualize data logs on charts
v0.1.3 requires UTCOMP-3 or UTCOMP-PRO in version v3.7 (please remember to update your UTCOMP module with PC and Windows application if you have older version).

You can install app and check how it works without connection to UTCOMP-PRO (it will load example logs).

UTCOMP Android v0.1.5d is already available. At the moment it can be installed by beta testers (open beta tests are open for all users - you can subsribe via google play) and it will be available for all in few days.

v0.1.5 changelog:
- compatibility with UTCOMP v3.8
- added possibility to save and store many data logger files (without overwriting previous one)
- added possibility to change widget background (e.g. 100% black for OLED displays)
- added possibility to change alert colors (yellow, red, blue-gray)
- possibility to autorun UTCOMP app when USB connection is detected

Hi!

Would it be possible to remove the top grey bar on the app when i'm running the gauges, or make it black?
It looks really good now with the black background on my Oled phone

Cpould make it pop up if you press on the top of the screen, and then it will disappear after a few seconds or insert a "full screen" button.

I think it should be possible to hide it, I added it to "TODO" list

Do you have the same kind of windows software that can handle csv like Android?

Only Android in this case, there are no plans for such features in Windows software, but you can use any android emulator on Windows and it should work
