Michael, thank you for all your suggestion and we will check it carefuly - at the moment everything is working fine but I do not have exactly the same chip but few similar. I'll let you know when we will find issue.

If anyone else has similar issue please let us know in this topic, thanks.

Hello,
today i've received new donor pcb which has same SPI rom chip.
Revelprog programmer was able to read it correctly, then i wrote on it my patient rom, no error occured :)
Probably it worked well because i used my sata computer power supply and SOIC-8 Clip for read/write directly on donor pcb rom (instead unsoldering the chip from its pcb).

Thanks Michael for updating info. I have also received these chips (alone) and all tests passed and everything works fine (even chip ID is recognized correctly). We will keep an eye on this possible issues and I'll let you know when we find something interesting.

Have you tried it again (on new chip) or only in the past?

No, i haven't tried to read or write new chip alone because i have worked on it directly on board (i don't want to unsolder it from new good board).
Yes, i've tried to read again old chip alone, i get always same problem (i can't work on old chip while is on old board because it has shorts and burned tracks).
