Not reading DS2430A

Dear all,

I just recieved my super RevealProg IS!!!
I connect to DS2430 1-wire a 2,2 Kohms resistor to VCC trough and shared with data cable, and GND to pins 4,5 and 8 respectively as show.

Selected DS2430A chip-maxim.

Revealprog software, detects device, with tools options, I identify the ID, if I change the ds2430a epprom for another, it reads the new ID....but...I can not read the memory!!!, I followed the video tutorial, read manuals, check for the 2433 video....nothing.....not read buffer, I'm doing something wrong, for sure.....

Ah, I changed the resistance to 4.7k ohms too, ...nothing....changed and try to read 3 ds2430 differents ones with data inside.
4,5 volts is marked and I tested with 5.0 v too.

Any time that I try to read buffer...becomes empty, nothing.

any idea? I can do any screen capture, or make photos if want to check if I'm doing something wrong....

Are you programming in external circuit or directly in programmer? You do not have to use any resistors in series for VCC.
This chip is easy , only 3 wires are required for read/write: data (pin5), ground (pin4) and vcc (pin8) - that's all and it has to work. Please send me pictures of your connections.

I did with and without resistors, directly from icon to read. Not working.

The great is that reading id works perfectly, and ...write from icon works too!!!

But, ...I checked in depth and load DS2430 script, and works perfectly from script, no problem.

dont worry now I tested with DS2431 and works perfect all, with DS2430, read from script, write-->directly from icon

I think that issue is still with connection or faulty chip. I just checked DS2430A in ZIF socket and it's working fine, read/write is working.
This is how I connected it:

many thanks to test!!!!, its a SOC-6, probably something in between that I put its incorrect.

But I'm working 100% trough scripting, really interesting the scripting.

if you develope a little bit more with command lines or API interfacing, will be really amazing to make outside software and can be used and sold as a stand alone tools for example: software+reveal command line+Reveal IS for car reprogramming chips.....It's an idea.
Then reveal can be sold more....because people that do not know how to program or flash chips for cars can buy.....an specific solution.....it's only an idea to help.

many thanks to help me ArT
