file swap function (swap-bytes) in REVELPROG app

hello
After reading file can i swap from 16 bit to 8 bit, without having to read the device again ?

Yes you have swap byte function in menu:

But sometimes if chip is 8bit (and does not support 16bit) and you read it as16 bit than you read only half of memory and swap will not help.

I have abother problem i tried updating and seems to have a driver incompatibility issues can you help please

If you updated from 1.2.x than you need to install new driver.
It is described in user manual. Please take a look also at short video:
