Which chip is it exactly? You have select Byte Program (very slow)
Please select 25..016 [PP] (page program)

Ok, please reply for few questions so we can find where is the issue:
1. What is CHIP ID? (Tools -> Read ID)
2. Does every read have the same checksum or every read checksum is different?
3. Does programmer pass hardware test? (tools -> hardware test)
4. Do you programming in adapter or in external circuit?
5. Any differnce when you decrease programming speed? (View -> HW Toolbar -> SCK 50% or 10%)
6. Any difference when you increase slightly voltage? (e.g. 3.0V or 3.3V)

Ok here is solution:
-> If you are programming in external circuit - you have bus conflict (every read is different) - you need to disable other SPI communication in circuit to avoid bus conflict or desolder the chip and programm it in adapter
- >If you programming on clip only (wires + clip only) - it's not proper way - it will not work, wires are to long, to much noise. You need to use external adapter.
Hardware test also seems not ok for buffer #4. Do you removed any connections to memory (any device or adapter should NOT be connected during hardware test). It's not so bad (it still may work), but it's not fine (consumption should be <10mA for every buffer)

Nothing is connected for the test. Is this a warranty case?
Everything worked fine before the update.

Buffers can not be damaged by update - they can be damaged only in case of short circuit / overcurrent (e.g. during programming in external circuit with wrong connections). You can downgrade to v1.8.5 (install v1.8.5 connect programmer and click CTRL + ALT + SHIFT + A) and then make hardware test but results will be the same.
