1-Wire device programming

REVELPROG-IS (since version v1.8.1) supports OneWire (1-Wire) bus. If you have older version you can update your REVELPROG-IS to latest version (updates are free).

Main features and examples:

  • Read/Write EEPROM in Maxim DS devices and read 64-bit unique ID using READ ID tool, please check video:

    Example 1-wire chips with EEPROM: DS24B33, DS2431, DS2430A, DS2436 etc.

  • Communicate with any 1-wire device using 1-wire script tool - even with devices which are not in memory database. Here you have example programming scripts for DS2436 battery chip - based on this script and datasheet for your device you can write your own script - it's simple!
