SFP modules Forara

Post by zburget »

Hi,
I just have bad luck with modules that don't follow MSA standards. :-(
I've a few SFP modules with brand Forara. I try to find write password, but I try use range 00 00 00 00 to FF FF FF FF with and without checked "Apply range to single bytes", at addresses A2h-7Bh and A2h-FCh but password wasn't found.
I asked the seller who once sold me the modules years ago, but he doesn't know the password.

Does anyone here have any idea where to look for the password, please?

Thanks

Hi,
Some manufacturers do not follow the SFF-8472, and they do not use the password writing method. Someone like AVAGO, they use the method of directly writing MCU.
