Hello,
im trying to install UTCOMP PRO in my 2004 W211 E55 AMG. I already got IAT and MAP Sensor working fine. Now im stuck at the RPM. I connected the Crank Sensor to DigInFc2 A11 but i have problems with finding the Pulses per Revolution. The App shows me a Rpm but its not the real engine rpm. As i could find the Crank sensor is not a Hall sensor. I tried also the Camshaft Hall sensor but on the Cam Hall sensor i got 0rpm. Here are the Wiring Diagram.
L5 is Crank sensor.
B6/1 is Hall Sensor Camshaft
Z7/35 is 5v
Z626 is Sensorground

Re: W211 E55 AMG RPM Problem
Usually crank sensor is working fine. How wrong these values are? Maybe it's divided by 2, 4 or 8 and it needs just calibration? Or is it totally random?
PS. please make sure also that you have selected RPM signal for A11 input and set RPM settings properly in advanced -> RPM

RPM signal is selected. for the pulses do i have to count the holes in the flywheel ?

Re: W211 E55 AMG RPM Problem
You need to count pulses per single revolution of main shaft, usually it will be 0.5, 1x, 2x or 4x. If you enter wrong multiplier in settings you will have wrong RPM (but lineary rescaled), e.g. instead of 3000 RPM you will get 750/1500/6000/12000 RPM depends on settings. Or just check RPM with different multiplier.
Re: W211 E55 AMG RPM Problem
I removed the flywheel and counted 57 holes. there is one bigger hole than the others. so in total 58. i also added photo of the Crank sensor
