How does it know?

Post by averagejoe »

If I have a NAND chip, say https://www.winbond.com/hq/product/code ... =W25Q128JV and its supposed to have say 128 mb or 64 mb of storage or whatever, how the the REVELPROG-IS know to only copy 8mb or less from the chip? I only ask because I keep getting incomplete binary images. Does it go until it sees a bunch of NULLs?
