Installed the UTComp Pro today, awesome Product!
I have installed two DS18B20 for Air Intake Temperature. One pre intercooler and one post intercooler/meth Injector.
For my liking, the refresh time for the temperatur reading is a bit on the slow side.
I wanted to program a alert beep when IAT gets too hot to prevent knocking. For example when the meth injection has a problem.
But this alert would come on way too late.
I have assembled the sensor without a metal tube so the sensor response should be good.
Is it possible to speed up the reading of the sensor?
Or are there specific AIT Sensors for faster response?

Hi Denis. Refresh time for DS sensors depends on how many sensor you have connected (about +2s for each additional sensor). There is no possibility to speed up this process. If you need faster response, then you can use analog temperature sensor (NTC) - refresh rate is 5x per second. You can use any NTC thermistor for IAT temperature connected to AdcVcc1 or AdcVcc2 input (e.g. 2k or 4k7 NTC thermistor with Beta=4000 will be 100% fine).
