Great, thanks for feedback. I can make you further averaging for this one input if you wish. Is it Adc1?
At the moment I set you 0.4s (was 0.1s before) but can make 1s (and it will decrease refreshing rate for this input to 1Hz).
Bouncing fuel pressure sensor
Re: Bouncing fuel pressure sensor
That is very kind of you to offer!
At the moment, I am able to read the pressures, and it´s good to know that the readings from the gauges are the same. It would perhaps be more interesting to see how the readings would be with 0.6s averaging for all the inputs if you don´t mind?
Thank you so much again!
Cheers,
Svein

Re: Bouncing fuel pressure sensor
Dear Svein,
I've sent you on PM new firmware and app for tests.
You will need to update UTCOMP the same as before, but you will also need to replace UTCOMP windows application file (in installation folder, by default it is C:\Program Files (x86)\REVELTRONICS\UTCOMP). Then you will see new "Adc" tab in advanced settings, where you can set averaging time for sensors. For 600ms averaging please enter 30 samples for each pressure and save settings. You can also enter any other higher value (1 sample = 20ms conversion time, so each +100ms = +5 samples). Please let me know when you test it.
Cheers,
Artur

Re: Bouncing fuel pressure sensor
Again I have to say that this is really amazing customer service! So cool!!
I installed the new firmware and software today and played around with the numbers. Started with 800ms average (40 samples) which was dead steady, and after driving around and changing it a bit I settled for the 600ms average (30 samples) in the end. This gives a much better indication of the actual pressure at the IP than the bouncing numbers I saw before. Thank you so much!!
