SW_GND to GND ?

Postby Pistou » Wed Dec 09, 2020 11:37 am

Hello,

I can see on schematic that both signals are linked, is that already made internally in UTCOMP baord or Do I have to solder sw_gnd to gnd too ?

Thanks

SW_GND = switches ground on switches board. You have to connect SW_GND to UTCOMP ground.

Because when you press switch it makes short circuit to GND, so ground line should be connected to switches board.

Just to make it clear - it's output ground for switch board. You do not have to connect it if you are not using switches.
