Data logger channels question

Postby seanol » Sun Nov 29, 2020 7:11 pm

I am interested in UTCOMP-Pro for data logging only. I am looking to log:

0-5v pressure sensor x3 (fuel pressure, boost pressure, methanol pump pressure)
wideband AFR (0-5v)
0-5v TPS signal x2
Injector pulsewidth (off injector negative wire)
Intake Air Temp (GM IAT sensor)
I will have RPM and VSS provided from a CAN adaptor (1 hz/rpm and 1 pulse/mph)

I would also like to know if the included temp sensors can be used for IAT in and IAT out if possible.

Is it possible to change the names of the sensors? I did not see that in the software I downloaded.

I would like to manually trigger data logging and would be using 10 samples a second resolution.

I will be getting the pro with the display and would like the ability to display that data on different user screens as well if possible.

This is for Mercedes E55 AMG for tuning purposes.

Thank you,

Sean

Hi Sean,

You can log only these parameters:

There is no option to log pulsewidth of injector.

You can not change sensor names but you can download .csv file and you can change it there quite easy.

For example there is no TPS to log, but you can use e.g. EGT1 and EGT2 and scale it to mV x 10 (e.g. 1 EGT = 10mV, 100EGT = 1V etc.) and later change in .csv EGT1 name to TPS2 and EGT2 to TPS2.

Included DS18B20 sensors may be used for IAT temp (e.g. user1 and user2)

You can log 10 samples per second x 10 parameters (about 20 minutes)
