Sensors to allow fitting to 1970's VW camper van.
Sensors to allow fitting to 1970's VW camper van.
I am thinking of fitting utcomp to 1970's VW camper van which naturally has no built in sensors. Most seem to be easily set up, with the exception of finding fuel flow which is sensitive enough for very low flow rates, eg 0.08 liters/minute. Fuel pump is mechanical with just a flow to the carburetter. It would be possible to loop fuel flow back to the tank but concerned about continuous pump activity. Anyone have any suggestions, methods or sensors?

Minimum 0,5l/h, please check example pdf from attachment. At page 13-17 are connection diagrams for diesel engines.
You can try to conctact with this company maybe they will have more sensitive flow meters at the moment. They are from Bulgaria as I know.

This might work: http://enginemeter.com/site/index.php?o ... Itemid=479
From supplier:
You can supply this sensor from +4.5 to +24V.
The current consumption is about 10mA.
There is an internal 10kOhm pull up resistor on the output (pulse signal).
